Day three.

The doctors office told me they would call me at 7:30am to let me know if our embryo was alive.  They called me at 7:15am.

The conversation went like this:

“Hello? “
“Tiffany,  this is Sandy from Dr Omurtag’s office.  How are you today?
” good good,  how are you Sandy? “
“Fine,  thank you,  so. …… (long endless pause) I HAVE SOME GOOD NEWS FOR YOU.
“You do? ???????”
“I do. “

At this point I started crying and told Sandy that I didn’t think it would still be alive.  She started telling me what a strong embryo it is and it has great cells.

Brandon walks out of the bedroom, half asleep.  Scratching his head and his ears are pricked to the conversation.

I thank Sandy profusely and tell Brandon we are going to st louis.
He walks out of the room to get dressed and I start sobbing uncontrollably.
Brandon comes back to makes fun of me, hugging ensues.

We drove to st louis getting in shortly before 10am, and by 10:15 our little embryo was nestled snugly in my uterus!

Pre-transfer kisses

Waiting for our transfer!
Our embryo ❤

Snug in my uterus,  it’s the little white speck under the crosshair!

Today was a good day.
I feel so blessed,  as God has truly answered prayers.

We go to the dr on the 12th to find out of we are pregnant,  it’s going to be a long two weeks!  😉

Xoxo
ME

***********************bonus material****************************
they wanted my bladder completely full for the transfer (which feels like an awful period cramp btw)  and all I kept thinking when we got to the office was the line from Mrs. Doubtfire “be careful with that pony, she’s had a lot of water.”–Dr. Omurtag appreciated my humor.

a real conversation with Brandon today:
**as I struggle to get the little hospital booties over Brandon’s shoes**
me: “God babe, your shoes are HUGE!”
 Brandon: “Yeah they are.”
